Application area

Insulation of heating and hot water pipes in accordance with the German Buildings Energy Act (GEG 2020), drinking water pipes, solar pipes and pipelines in industrial systems. In addition, ROCKWOOL RS 800 can be used as a fire protection cladding for flammable pipes in escape and rescue routes.

Vørulýsing

Concentrically wound rock wool pipe shells with a mesh-reinforced, tear-resistant aluminium foil, sealed with overlapping self-adhesive strip. Slotted on one side; pre-slit inner wall ensures simpler installation.

Fyrimunir

  • Resistant to pressure, retains its shape, pre-slit inner wall makes it simple to install, free from corrosive substances, laminated foil acts as a vapour retarder, water-resistant, chemically neutral, non-rotting, resistant to ageing
  • Melting point >1000°C, upper application temperature on the rock wool side up to 250°C, on the aluminium side up to 80°C; thermal transfer coefficient in accordance with GEG 0.035 W/m*K
