The FDB BG2 sealing tape is versatile: It is suitable in window construction for connection joints that are resistant to driving rain, thermal seals between the window frame and masonry, for backfilling, profile couplings and for battening. In façade construction, it can be used as an overlay for in-situ concrete or concrete elements and in interior finishing to decouple raised floors. In roofing and timber construction, it can be used to seal roof tiles, skylights, ridges/crests/grooves and dormers.

Description

Ideal for indirect exposure to weathering The FDB BG2 sealing tape is a waterproofed, pre-compressed foam tape, equipped with a self-adhesive strip as an assembly aid. It is ideally suited for sealing against wind and rain in case of indirect exposure to weathering and for avoiding heat losses in accordance with the specifications of the Energy Saving Ordinance and RAL Quality Assurance Association.

Advantages

  • Tested tape quality in accordance with BG2 - resistant to driving rain up to 300 Pa
  • Bridges uneven surfaces and joints
  • Offers maximum protection against indoor air pollution - certified in accordance with GEV-EMICODE® EC1PLUS - very low emissions
  • Structural movement and common construction tolerances are compensated due to the high tolerance capacity of the tapes
  • Stress group 2 in accordance with EN 18542
