FDB BG1 M sealing tape is a versatile joint sealing tape for applications in building construction. Typical areas of application include: window and timber construction, prefabricated construction, masonry, half-timbered construction and concrete construction. It is particularly suitable for sealing connecting and moving joints between different components as well as for windproof connections of films in roof extensions. FBD BG1 M sealing tape is also frequently used in interior finishing, as it has very good sound insulation properties and is therefore ideal for sealing connection joints.

The FDB BG1 M sealing tape is a high-quality, waterproofed and pre-compressed foam tape with an internal membrane for driving-rain-resistant exterior sealing of connection joints in building construction. The solvent-free, single-sided self-adhesive is a simple assembly aid.

Advice
- Tape expansion is accelerated at high temperatures and slowed down at low temperatures. At low temperatures (<10 °C), store the tape at room temperature for at least six hours.
- The FDB BG1 M sealing tape cannot be used with standing water.
- The tape must not come into contact with aggressive chemicals containing solvents.
- Weigh down the remaining rolls in open boxes to prevent the rolls from shifting sideways (telescoping).
