The RECA ultra hooked blades ("black blades") are specially heat treated, creating a higher carbon content in the steel. Sulphur and manganese content in the alloy is reduced to a minimum. The result: extremely clean-cut edges. Ground on two sides and with a Rockwell hardness of 64, they enable more precise holding and cutting of the material — the result: improved cutting and a longer service life.
