Degrease the RECA TT countersink drill bit before using it for the first time. The hex key can be used to set the drilling and countersinking depth or change the drill bit. The RECA TT countersink drill bit should be operated at approx. 1,300 rpm. If necessary, lightly lubricate between the plastic depth stop and aluminium height adjustment with acid-free penetrating oil containing PTFE (e.g. RECA arecal TEF CLEAR).

The RECA TT countersink drill bit is equipped with a 4.0 mm diameter drill bit, a 9.4 mm diameter countersink and a depth stop. The drill bit and depth stop can be continuously adjusted. The drill bit can be changed without any great effort (twist wood drill bit or DIN 338, 4.0 mm). No special drill bit is required. The RECA TT countersink drill bit enables precise pre-drilling and countersinking in one step with a clear view of the working surface. No burn marks appear in the wood thanks to the movable depth stop.
