Type KR

Type KR tension anchors are a one-piece, high load-bearing tension anchor system for base anchoring in wood, steel or concrete substrates.
They are extremely robust due to the special construction.

Application area:

Base anchoring of supports, purlins, timber frame constructions or solid wood elements

Advantages:

• European Technical Approval (ETA-13/1060)
• Extremely high load-bearing capacities
• Large base plate for optimised force transfer into the ground
• Single-piece anchor system
• Indirect fastening (max. 26 mm) via an intermediate layer (e.g. OSB)
• Extra-long back panel for optimal positioning of the required number of nails, while complying with the required edge distances on the wooden frame

Advice:

Nail holes with a diameter of 5 mm are provided on the long side for fastening the KR tension anchors. In the case of tensile loading, the mounting hole in the base of the bracket is equipped with a stud anchor for connecting the bracket. The fasteners used for the type KR tension anchors must comply with EN 14592.
Suitable fasteners are
in wood:
• Anchor nails to EN 14592 (article no. 0681 040 ...)
in concrete:
• Stud anchors BZ Plus (article no. 0910 2.. ...) in conjunction with washer
DIN 440 (ISO 7094) (article no. 0459 ...)
