Minimum screw length = clamping force + material thickness + drill bit tip length + 3 mm. The clamping effect of the conical square drive bit allows the screw to adhere to the bit and thus facilitates single-handed installation. Metal filings do not collect at the drive tip, which occurs when using a magnetic bit holder.
Do not use the screw in applications with direct exposure to the weather or in wet rooms with atmospheres containing chlorine gas.
