- Required drill diameter for metric screws:
- M 3-6 = 1.8 mm
- M 6-8 = 2.6 mm
- M 8-11 = 3.7 mm
- M 11-14 = 5.5 mm
- M 14-18 = 7.0 mm
- M 18-24 = 11.0 mm
- M 24-33 = 14.0 mm
- M 33-45 = 21 mm
