The hexagon ball head on the long arm is equipped with a holding function (HF). A spring-loaded ball ensures that hexagon socket screws are held in place by the hex key. This is especially useful in hard-to-reach working areas where screws cannot be held in place by a second hand.
The ball-shaped drive profiles allow the tool axis to be swivelled away from the screwdriving axis, therefore enabling "around the corner" screwdriving.

Conventional hex keys often "round off" the screw head profiles, meaning that the hex keys slip and the screws can no longer be tightened or loosened.Hex-Plus tools have larger contact surfaces in the screw head, thereby reducing the notching effect and deformation of the screw. Additionally, up to 20 % higher torques can be transmitted.
Sizes 1.5 mm, 2 mm and 2.5 mm do not feature a holding function (for technical reasons)!
