HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic is a flexible fire protection acrylic with excellent fire protection properties for sealing joints up to 400 mm wide. The joint sealing system has been specifically designed for very good workability, effective sound insulation and high fire protection performance. It is approved for use on walls and ceilings up to fire resistance class EI 120 in accordance with DIN EN 1366-4. The joint is usually formed with a packing wool backing in order to ensure the required joint depth. Alternatively, depending on the application and the classification of the partition, a force-fit mineral fibreboard of specified minimum density and thickness may be used. Single-sided joint constructions with a fire resistance period of up to EI 120 minutes also allow simple, time-saving installation, even in areas that are difficult to access.

Gode råd
- Joints must be free from dust and grease before installation. Moistening absorbent substrates is recommended to improve adhesion.
