HENSOMASTIK® Acrylic is a flexible fire protection acrylic with excellent fire protection properties for sealing joints up to 400 mm wide. The joint sealing system has been specifically designed for very good workability, effective sound insulation and high fire protection performance. It is approved for use on walls and ceilings up to fire resistance class EI 120 in accordance with DIN EN 1366-4. The joint is usually formed with a packing wool backing in order to ensure the required joint depth. Alternatively, depending on the

application: and the classification of the partition, a force-fit mineral fibreboard of specified minimum density and thickness may be used. Single-sided joint constructions with a fire resistance period of up to EI 120 minutes also allow simple, time-saving installation, even in areas that are difficult to access.

Application: area: For sealing horizontal and vertical linear joints, openings and transitions requiring fire resistance between different wall and ceiling constructions or structural elements.

Joints in solid vertical components ≥ 150 mm adjoining other room-terminating solid components. 3. Joints in vertical or horizontal solid timber or CLT components ≥ 120 mm adjoining other room-terminating lightweight partition walls or components made from flexible drywall constructions. 4. Joints in solid vertical or horizontal components ≥ 150 mm adjoining other room-terminating solid timber or CLT components ≥ 120 mm. 5. Joints in vertical or horizontal solid timber or CLT components adjoining other room-terminating solid timber or CLT components ≥ 120 mm. 6. Joints in solid vertical or horizontal components ≥ 150 mm adjoining steel components or room-terminating solid components clad with steel. 7. Joints in solid horizontal components ≥ 150 mm adjoining other room-terminating solid components. 8.
