Converts residual rust into an insoluble iron-tannin complex = a stable, insoluble, blue-black organometallic compound.

Application area:

Remove loose rust, varnish, oil or wax residue from the parts being treated using a wire brush or similar. Apply one coat of the rust converter by painting, spraying or using a roller; can also be applied to damp substrates.

Field of Application:

Metal and steel construction, tool manufacturing, bridge building, vehicle construction, shipbuilding, agriculture and forestry, construction machinery etc.

Advantages:

Rapid reaction time (max. 3h).
Can be painted over and coated with filler.
Can be applied using a commercially available brush.
Dispersion-based, environmentally friendly version.

Advice:

Application temperature: +5°C to +40°C
Do not apply in direct sunlight!
Clean application tools with water after use.
